Traveling to Camp...

RGC will provide chaperones from Juneau to Haines and back, but you are responsible for getting your child to camp from other areas.  Be sure to purchase ferry tickets to and from camp for your child.  Though RGC will be chaperoning to Haines and back, you are responsible for purchasing tickets.

Here is the information you will need to coordinate your child's travel this summer.

Once you have sent in a registration form for camp, you will receive more helpful information in the mail as to who else is traveling from your community and who your community contact person is who will be helping families arrange travel from your community to camp.

Junior High Camp

June 15-20

*Please make arrangements for your child to meet with chaperones one hour prior to departure time.

Northbound Ferry to Haines, June 15th:

Departing at 6:45am on the Columbia (please arrive at 5:45am to meet chaperones)

Southbound Ferry to Juneau, June 20th:

Departing Haines at 9am on the Malaspina (please pick up your child at the Juneau terminal at 1:30pm)

High School Camp

June 22-27

*Please make arrangements for your child to meet with chaperones one hour prior to departure time.

Departing at 9:00am on the Columbia (please arrive at 8:00am to meet chaperones)

Southbound Ferry to Juneau, June 27th:
